It is not uncommon to have questions, concerns or even apprehensions when visiting a doctor for the first time. It is our goal to make sure you feel right at home. In fact, our patients often remark how warm and inviting our office is. We have designed everything with your comfort and benefit in mind. You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and you’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office.

 

Plan for between 60 and 90 minutes for your First Visit. If you’d like to save about 20 minutes, you can easily download and print our paperwork from this site and have it prepared prior to coming in.

The goal of the first visit is to get to know you and learn about how you are hoping to benefit from our care. We’ll discuss your health goals and concerns and work together to discover where your health is currently.  

If we don’t think we can help, we’ll tell you and recommend other options. If we think we can help, Dr. Mike will recommend what tests would be best for you. Our patients appreciate the fact that we explain everything in advance!

We utilize the most advanced technology available to safely and comfortably measure your health and function. We can accurately identify what is causing your health concerns by measuring how efficiently your body is working and what effect stress is having on your health and well-being.   Our computerized technology is certified by the Space Foundation and trusted by doctors caring for some of the world’s greatest athletes and elite performers.  It is a great tool for evaluating kids!  You’ll literally be amazed!

Since your posture and body structure play a large role in your health and function, we’ll assess these by using a bilateral weight scale analysis, a postural assessment, computerized range of motion evaluation, and specific films to measure your alignment and spinal health and to see how well your spine is aging.

Utilizing all of the information from this First Visit, we can then determine optimal recommendations to help you reach your goals. We will review all the findings and recommendations on your next visit and help you decide how you can participate with our care. 

The cost for the examination on your first visit will range from $75-$145.
